The Lamar County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is  responsible for the preparation and carrying out of all emergency functions to prevent, minimize and repair any damage resulting from man-made or natural emergencies and disasters, or the threat thereof.  Business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
